SURF SISTERS
An Open Floor for Everyone
Acts 13:38-39, “We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God…” “Come on in! It’s an open floor,” he declared as he stood at the front door of the coffee shop. He was an artist at the Endless Summer tattoo shop art show, and proclaimed loud and clear that all ...
On the road to Playgrounds: Relying on Faith
Ephesians 2:8 “For it is by grace you have been saved; through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God.” If it is by faith alone that we are saved, then how important is our faith? I spent a few minutes meditating on this simple but crucial pillar of my Christian faith while I sipped Nicaraguan coffee and roosters crowed.

The Surf Board Gospel
John 5:24, “I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life.  They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have passed from death into life.”   My favorite surf board is fluorescent green on the outside with a glowing fluorescent yellow on the inside.
God’s Sovereignty
“The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth.” – Psalm 97:5   My body was exhausted and yearned for sleep, but my mind was a mass of swirling questions.  Who would I meet?  What would the surf be like?  What would I eat?  Nothing was certain, nothing except that I was sitting on the airplane on my way.
